Quick View Configuration

After installing, the Quickview configuration tab will appear on the left panel of your Dashboard.

This is where you can adjust settings for global Quickview button.

Note: The settings you change in here will apply to all Quickview buttons in your website.

If you wish to change only a Quickview button or Lightbox in a specific post grid, go to Quickview in Visual Composer for more instructions.

1. General Settings

  • You can copy and paste the Shortcode into any post on your WordPress site to show Quickview. To modify this shortcode, please read Quickview Shortcode

  • Please read this article to learn more about “Add to the_content_more_link”:

  • Enable “Add to post excerpt” to show Quickview button on post grid (only with the grid template which shows post excerpt).

  • You can add jQuery selector in CSS selector box to select link on your website which you want to open in quickview.

2. Quickview Button

  • At “Display Setting” tab, you can adjust the appearance of the button.

You can customize this Quickview button by adding custom class at “Button class” field.

3. Quickview Lightbox

  • In the same “Display Settings” tab, below “Button” section, there’s a metabox to customize Lightbox.

You can customize this Quickview lightbox by adding custom class at “Custom lightbox class name” field.

  • There are 11 different templates and 7 animations for you to choose.

Note: The “Magazine Side” and “Article Fixed Size” can only apply Full-screen size.

  • Some templates show header image. By default, header image will be featured image of post. If a post doesn’t have featured image, it will show the “Default header image” in Quickview Lightbox settings.

4. Custom CSS

You can add your own custom CSS code at “Custom CSS” tab.

Also, there are fields to add custom class to button only or lightbox only in Button section or Lightbox section in Display settings.
